John has always had a strong work ethic and goal of helping others. At Stewart Law, he is able to accomplish that goal in a supportive and collaborative work environment. After growing up in Huntersville and graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with a Business Administration Degree from Kenan-Flagler Business School, he attended Campbell Law School in Raleigh. John graduated from Campbell Law School magna cum laude where his course work focused on Wills & Trusts, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Estate and Gift Tax, and Income Tax.

John’s goal is to not only assist families with their estate planning needs and companies with their corporate needs, but to also guarantee that each client has a clear understanding of what we are achieving for them every step of the way.

As a native Charlottean, John is an avid Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets supporter. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, grilling, and adventuring with his wife Jessica, their boys, Luca and Rory, and their three dogs.
